Conferences, seminars, training courses, events and meetings have something in common: they begin at one time, have a defined duration, can be chronologically sorted and displayed in an overview. Frequently, a registration is required.

Events are like news single documents. When using the document type "Event overview" events will be displayed as an archive and can be sorted in ascending, descending or chronological order. There are several display options, e.g. including a content entry or only using an abstract. When a registration is required, a link to a registration form can be integrated. It's really simple!
